Our ministry serves Monroe and surrounding communities by supplying food upon request to families in need.  Throughout the year, food is collected by our church community and organized in our pantry room. From there, the food is available for families to pick up on a weekly basis.

In addition to our weekly distribution we also have three special packs for Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.  At Thanksgiving, the pack is extended to include 30 Senior citizens from a local community.  There are many ways to be part of the food pantry:
  • Help once a month by stocking incoming food then packing for the weekly families.
  • Staff the pantry room while families pick up their food each week.
  • Run extra food to other pantries in the area.
  • Shop during the holidays for the specialty items.
  • Help with the large holiday packs 3 times a year.

Who can volunteer?
All parishioners can volunteer. Children must be supervised by an adult.

Can I use it for Service Hours?
