Faith Formation
St. Jude Faith Formation begins in Kindergarten and continues through Eighth Grade, with the Sacraments of First Reconciliation celebrated in the Spring of the second grade year, and Confirmation celebrated in the Spring of the eighth grade year.
Our unique program blends remote learning with Mass attendance and Family Faith-Food-Fun Events.* We know that Parents are the primary educators of the faith, and with that in mind, our program is designed to support families while offering a strong faith based education based on:
Scripture
4 Pillars of the Catechism: Creed, Prayer, Sacraments and Morality
Outreach to the Community
Family Time
Our remote sessions provide a solid faith education, but as followers of Christ, we know that we must put that knowledge into action, in our Church, our communities and our world. Our program seeks to involve children and their families in all aspects of ministry. As a St. Jude community, we pray together and serve together. Opportunities are built into our structure which include: serving at Mass in various roles, gathering together to provide service to the community, helping at retreats, older grades mentoring younger grades, and much more. There are also built-in features for parent/family involvement in the remote sessions.
Our Program consists of remote sessions, many which feature our Pastor Fr. Henry, which are emailed home to all grade levels and three Family Gatherings throughout the year.*
