Faith Formation: 2023 - 2024
Religious Education Information

We are looking forward to the upcoming school year. We are offering a choice of either in-person classes or a remote option.

In-person classes will be offered on Sunday or Wednesdays beginning October 1 and will run through March for a total of twenty classes. Sunday class times will be 8:30-9:15am, or 10:30-11:15am. Wednesday class times will be from 5-5:45pm or 6:30-7:15pm.

Our online program offers the flexibility to learn at your own pace with do-it-yourself lessons at home. You will be given 10 months to complete twenty lessons of the program.  The remote option will also include four supplementary in-person family formation sessions. These four sessions will be scheduled in person on Sundays throughout the year in our parish hall. This is a great opportunity to gather with other remote students and their family members.

Sunday Mass is a beautiful and holy obligation of our worship of the Lord. Religious education families must incorporate Sunday Mass into their family routines. Attendance at Mass will be verified for all students.

Sacraments are a wonderful way in which we receive God's grace in our lives. This year we will be preparing the second graders for reconciliation and communion and the eighth graders for confirmation. All students preparing for a sacrament must register for in person classes.

Next year for the 2024-2025 school year we will no longer be offering first communion and reconciliation in second grade. We will be moving up the sacrament of Holy Communion and Reconciliation to the third grade classes.

A meeting for eighth grade familes. We will be hosting information sessions for eighth grade parents and students immediately after mass September 16-17 after the 4:30pm Saturday mass and the 9:30am and 11:30am Sunday mass downstairs in the parish hall. This informative meet and greet will be geared towards the parents or guardians of our confirmation class as well as the students. We will discuss confirmation preparation and expectations for the coming year. Attendance is strongly encouraged.
