Loving Christ, Loving Others

Welcome to St. Jude’s Parish in Monroe! Our parish seeks to become a place where people encounter God, fall in love with Him, are transformed by His Spirit, and become missionary disciples in the world today.

We believe in building on the Five Pillars of the Church:
  1. Worship – everything we do begins with our relationship with God, Who first loved us.
  2. Formation – we then allow the Truth of Jesus Christ, found in Scripture and in the Tradition of the Catholic Church, to change our hearts and our lives so          that we become fully mature in holiness.
  3. Evangelization – once Christ has changed our hearts, we seek to offer Him to a world that is so desperately in need of His love.
  4. Community – this Christian life cannot be lived in isolation. We foster intentional friendships with other disciples for mutual support and encouragement.
  5. Service – our love for Jesus should translate into love for our neighbor, especially the poor, the unborn, the immigrant, and those most vulnerable among      us.

  • Christmas Eve Children's Choir

    Christmas Eve Children’s Choir!

Students, young and old, from our CCD Program and the parish, are invited to sing at the 5:30 P.M. Mass this year. Wear your “Christmas Best” and lift your voices for Jesus at one of our Vigil Masses. It will be a beautiful time!

The music is not complicated or complex - pretty much straightforward and common Christmas Carols. My hope is to have one big rehearsal before Christmas at a time convenient for all. Students of reading age and up are invited to sing and music is an amazing way to improve those reading skills! All are welcome to participate.

Please contact Lou, our Parish Director of Music via email to confirm and RSVP at
