Youth Hike to Castle Craig

Castle Craig Tower is a stone observation tower atop East Peak in Meriden. The round stone observation tower of native trap rock was built by local stone masons in 1900. It stands on East Peak with an elevation of 976 feet. The tower is 32 feet in height and 58 feet in circumference. An interior stairway provides access to the observation deck.

Youth Encounter - Winter/Spring 2024

St. Jude's Youth Encounters are opportunities for young people grades 6-12 to gather and encounter - encounter Jesus through prayer, encounter each other through honest conversation, and just plain have fun! Games, sports, food, prayer, and honest conversation about our Catholic Faith.


All young people are invited - 7-9pm on select Friday nights at the St. Jude Social Hall. No cost - no sign-ups - just show up.

Camp Veritas Catholic Summer Camp!

 

It's time to start signing up for Camp Veritas Catholic Summer Camp! Each year we get a group to go to the best week of sleep-away camp you will ever experience. Camp Veritas (www.campveritas.org) combines sports, swimming, boating, zip-lines, go-karts, and all the fun camp activities with daily Mass, Rosary, Adoration, spiritual talks, and a powerful encounter with Jesus. Every single kid who went last year had a blast and we hope to double attendance this year! We are offering a special scholarship for kids who are part of Youth Encounter - $300 off!
